About Me

 

William Messer has extensive real estate experience.  He has personally invested and managed a multimillion dollar portfolio of Greater Arlington and Beaches, Riverside, and urban infill projects.

His real estate development experience also includes working nearly 10 years with Jacksonville-based Rayonier, publicly traded real estate investment trust.  While at Rayonier, Will worked on land development, commercial projects (multifamily, office, industrial), including McCallum Sweeney and Austin Consulting site selection.

Will is a Jacksonville native who graduated from Stanton College Preparatory School.  He also graduated from Wesleyan University and received his MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.  At Wharton, Will specialized in real estate and was a Joseph A. Wharton Fellow and Pension Real Estate Scholar.  He is a Robert Toigo Foundation alumnus.

He was appointed by Mayor Lenny Curry to District 2:  Greater Arlington and Beaches’ Citizen Planning and Advisory Committee (CPAC).  He is a member of CPAC’s Land Use (LUZ) and TPO subcommittees.  He is a North Florida Transportation Planning Organization (TPO), Citizen Advisory Committee and Urban Land Institute Member.

Will is engaged in the Jacksonville community as a Meninak, Phase 8 Theater Company Board Member, and a Bethel Baptist Institutional Church Trustee.  

You may find Will running recreationally, rooting for the Jaguars, or attending an arts event.
